We just returned from a delightful stay at Villa Royale. We are local, but needed a little summer getaway. So happy we chose this hotel. It’s like a trip back in time to when celebs would escape to our desert. Greeted with a cocktail, we felt right at home. Our room was perfect. Just off the small pool. Quiet and well appointed. We even had our own private patio. The main pool is ideal for socializing and people watching. Love the morning breakfast buffet with fresh coffee, juices and everything you need to start your day. We also fell in love with the restaurant in the hotel. Del Rey is an amazing space. The food and drinks were fantastic. Such a romantic spot. The main thing we loved was the wonderful staff. Each person we came in contact with was so kind. They genuinely cared about our stay. We can’t wait to return.

Great facility, staff was extremely friendly and paid attention to the little details. Brought water around to people at the pool when it was hot, keep the facility picked up throughout the day and always had a big smile. The complimentary breakfast was better than you get most hotels. First class restaurant and bar on site.

A dreamlike space with very mellow and unassuming vibes. Beautifully re-done while maintaining its old world charm. Would book again in a heartbeat, especially at the early week rates :) ＜3

This was our first time here and we really loved everything about this place! Came to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We stayed in the Biscayne room. It was absolutely perfect having the pool right outside our door, and we loved having the private patio in the back. Service was excellent, food and drinks were great and the vibe was top notch. Milk & cookies were a nice surprise and breakfast was so lovely. Quiet, clean, beautiful.

Amazing place! A true gem in Palm Springs, we will definitely be back soon. I've let all my colleagues and friends know about it and already planning our next trip! Not only is the hotel beautiful but all the staff is very welcoming and friendly. We celebrated our anniversary here (adults only btw) it helped keep the vibes chill and super relaxing. The pool bar food & drinks were spectacular and reasonably priced, our room was truly breathtaking! Our stay included welcome drinks and daily breakfast and it was such a lovely touch. Cleanliness was also top notch, shoutout to the housekeepers & staff who maintain it all!

Funky, chic hotel in old Palm Springs with ultra comfortable accommodations & a tasty tapas restaurant. We stayed 4 separate nights en route to L.A. & San Diego. Each time we were warmly welcomed & our unique well-appointed room was ready. We especially enjoyed the terrific staff, the immaculate rooms & grounds, the welcome sangria, the bathrobes, the consistently excellent (& complimentary) breakfast & delicious tapas @ Del Rey.

I booked a standard room for my husbands birthday and when we checked in the had upgraded us to a one bedroom suite off the main pool! The room was perfection with a small patio out back where we could eat breakfast and hear the fountain. Fresh cookies were baked every night and the complementary breakfast spread was actually really lovely. Every employee we spoke to was warm and inviting. We had some trouble with the heat and they popped over immediately to get it working. The vibes of the hotel were romantic and quiet which was what we were hoping for. We will be back again!

Can’t say enough about this charming hotel. The ambience and decor is unique and chic. There are many different areas to relax, including the multiple pools, a rooftop lounge, Del Mar restaurant indoors at the bar (gorgeous), or outdoors, the lanai with Audrey Hepburn, and of course, your room. We booked the Biscayne and it was one of my favorite hotel rooms ever. Indoor and outdoor fireplace/pit. Bar, beamed ceilings, and Debbie Harry holding court over it all. Quiet hotel, super friendly staff. I would be so disappointed if I were to never make it back. Only one negative was the quality of the beastly (free) bikes.

Villa Royale is always our first choice for a place to stay in Palm Springs. We love the gorgeous rooms, comfy beds, Nespresso machines, courtyards, fountains, nooks, pools, pool bar, the hotel restaurant Del Ray (hidden gem)… The list goes on. This recent stay, as soon as we checked in management offered us some sangria served with a lovely edible flower garnish. Then they offered us a free drink for being return guests. And they managed to find us a King room even though our reservation was very last minute and they were pretty fully booked. It’s one of the ways they go above and beyond. Any room at this hotel is well designed and comfortable. The suites are especially nice and worth the splurge. Landscaping is beautiful, pools are inviting, breakfast is served on the patio near the pool and sometimes in the evening there are freshly baked cookies and milk. Our fav.
